TreeCapitator mod – aka trackcapitator, this useful mod allows you to quickly cut down a tree by breaking one bottom block.

With this mod, the bottom block will break significantly longer than usual, but all tree blocks (which are higher) will break instantly, including all foliage. This is very convenient, especially on maps like skyblock where you need to grow a lot of trees in a limited space.

TreeCapitator is one of the oldest and most popular mods for quickly cutting trees for minecraft, it has not been updated for a long time, and the current versions for 1.12.2-1.8.9 came out very late, during this time a lot of other mods were created with with the same functionality, they are updated much more often and are already available on new versions of the game. Now the mod is called Treecapitator Updated, it has a different author, however, he has not yet created versions of the mod for modern versions of Minecraft.

If you hold Shift and cut down a block of wood, this will disable the quick breaking of the tree, as in a regular game it will only break the block that is being broken, this will allow you not to break extra blocks
