The Radium Reforged mod is a port/rework of the Lithium mod for the Forge.

This is a comprehensive optimization mod for minecraft, the mod improves performance by fixing the physics of the game, the intelligence of mobs, rendering game components, etc., all this allows you to speed up the game up to 30-40%, especially with a large number of installed mods.

The mod is a remake and contains the main functions of lithium, the author reports the following functions:

Physics optimization: the principle of collision detection of entities is changed by reducing the resolution of their models, and a more accurate algorithm is used that reduces the number of blocks that need to be checked when moving quickly.

Mob Intelligence Optimization: Mob brains have been optimized, and some tasks use a different event-based system to reduce CPU usage when there are a lot of mobs.

World generation optimization: removed some unnecessary calculations during world generation, which allows to speed up the generation of new chunks.

Chunk loading optimization: Reduced the number of disk I/O operations, as well as optimized temporary data structures used when compressing the block palette.

Mob farm optimization: By changing the resolution of mob models, a good optimization of mob farms for servers is achieved, they affect server TPS much less.

Block Optimization: some features have been implemented to optimize block updates when they change, this allows you to optimize large redstone circuits.

Explosions Optimization: Quite a lot of changes to optimize explosions, optimized particles and world impact calculations.

Optimization of complex intelligences of mobs: some mobs with complex intelligences use functions related to finding certain parts of the world, lithium optimizes these calculations and simplifies them, which has a positive effect on performance.

Data Tracker Optimization: Tracking various data, block properties or entities has been updated and optimized to provide better performance.

Optimization of redstone signal strength calculation: the number of checks of block states when calculating the strength of a redstone signal has been reduced, which allows to further reduce the impact of redstone schemes on performance.
