Minecraft Optifine allows you to install shaders, increase the number of fps, remove lags in Minecraft and gives you just awesomely wide video settings. Now below here you can download Optifine 1.20.4, 1.19.4, 1.18.2, 1.17.1, 1.16.5, 1.15.2, 1.14.4, 1.12.2 for Minecraft.

Which installation option should you choose?

If you play without mods – option without Forge
If with mods, then the rest of the options and remember that Fabric is only for Minecraft 1.14 and higher.

How to install / update Minecraft Optifine (with Forge):

  1. Open the launcher. Start and close Minecraft of the desired version once.
  2. Download the desired mod from the link below.
  3. Open the mods folder in the desired profile and drop Optifine into it.

How to install / update Minecraft 1.15.2 Optifine (with Forge and Optiforge):

  1. Open the launcher. Start and close Minecraft of the desired version once.
  2. Download the desired mod from the link below.
  3. Open the mods folder in the desired profile and drop Optifine, Optiforge, into it. Done

How to install / update Minecraft Optifine (without Forge):

  • Double click on the downloaded jar file.
  • Click OK twice on two different menus.
  • Open the launcher and find a new ready-made “Optifine” profile.
  • Second option. Go to the settings of any other profile and select the “release-number-such-and-such-Optifine-number-such-and-such” option. Click save.

How to install / update Minecraft Optifine (with Fabric):

  1. Double click on the downloaded Fabric jar file.
  2. Just click on Install and wait until the word Done appears.
  3. Open the launcher and find a new ready-made profile “Fabric blah blah blah”.
  4. Then drop Optifine, Optifabric into the mods folder.
  5. Second option. Go to the settings of any other profile and select the “release-number-such-and-such-fabric-number-such-and-such” option. Click save.
  6. Then drop Optifine, Optifabric into the mods folder.

IMPORTANT! Optifine on 1.14.3, 1.14.2, 1.14.1 and 1.14 and 1.13.2 is incompatible with Forge, at all. But there are compatible versions for 1.14.4, 1.15.2 and 1.16.5, 1.17 and all versions in between.

Optifine on 1.15.2 is not compatible with Forge and some effects of the mod itself do not work, shaders work for the latest versions of Optifine 1.15.2. Wait for new versions and visit the page often.

    Optifine 1.19 is out now its not in pre10 you can change it
